Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The Control Points layer depicts the location of section corrners and other points used for control established and maintained by the Noble County Surveyor's Office. Control points have been identified by the following ratings based on spatial accuracy from poor to GPS quality: Visual Bad, Visual Fair, Visual Good, Caculated, Recorded, Measured, and GPS. Control Points identified as GPS accuracy are considered survey grade GPS. GPS coordinates collected in the townships of Perry, Sparta, Washington, and Noble were acquired with Sokkia (Locus) single-frequency receivers in Static Mode. GPS Coordinates collected in the townships of York, Elkhart, Orange, Jefferson, Green, Swan, Allen, and Wayne were acquired with Leica dual-frequency receivers in Rapid Static mode. GPS data collection, which took place between February 13, 2004 and September 8, 2004, was collected by Mark Ober and Scott Zeigler. The Schneider Corporation assisted with the collection of Control Points listed with an accuracy of Visual Good, Visual Fair, and Visual Poor. All remaining Control Points having a different accuracy rating have been modified because of remapping efforts or related section corner work.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
